A few tips from Woman's Day Magazine (Feb. 2010 issue, pages 24-28) on the best times to do things:
Buying clothes online: Wednesdays & Thursdays (steepest discounts)
Go to a theme park: September, least crowded, most deals available.
Go to the mall: End of a selling season (clearance!)
Go to the supermarket: Wednesday (least crowded)
Las Vegas: Late July - Early August (off-season = more deals)
To the bathroom during a movie: Check out Runpee.com for best times depending on the movie
Always sold-out Movie: A mon thru wed matinee
A mammogram: Right after your period/before you've had your morning coffee
Spay/Neuter a pet: Ages 2-6 months (to avoid urine marking/pregnancy)
A walk: After dinner (helps digest your food, relieves stress before bed)
A workout: 4pm-6pm
They elaborate in the magazine on exactly why these are the best times to do things so if you want to know more, pick up a copy!

Changing directions....
I have been so busy lately I have all but abandoned this blog. I think I am going to shift a little to more inspiration, less couponing. I love coupons and the frugal lifestyle and if I find a really awesome deal I'll post it but for the most part I think I want to stick to inspiration and commentary. There are so many great couponing blogs out there I can't possibly keep up with them. I would encourage all the coupon lovers to follow one of my favorites, www.hip2save.com. This is a great blog for finding deals! There are several others as well but for now, I'll stick to mentioning that one and mention others at a later date.
Todays inspirational quote comes from a great book I just bought, The Celebrate-Your-Life Quote Book by Allen Klein
"Try to make at least one person happy every day, and then in ten years you may have made 3,650 persons happy, or brightened a small town by your contribution to the fund of general enjoyment." ~Sydney Smith
Making someone else smile is a wonderful way to brighten your own day and the day of someone else, you never know what they are going through that day and the benefits you get from it make it one of the best investments you can make in your own happiness.
